He has over 15 years experience in managing and delivering multi-million pound projects in both the public and private sectors. Callum sits on many industry and Government advisory panels and committees and plays an active part in promoting good procurement practice within the public sector. He has had recent roles as Project Director for East Sussex County Council NGA project, Project Director for the Colchester Council Broadband delivery project, and assisting Essex County Council with their pending BDUK bid.

Established a Gigabit digital strategy in Southend-on-Sea by procuring a dark fibre network and connecting over 150 public sector sites. Acting as the Programme Manager to co-ordinate all connections including corporate, social care, education, housing, libraries, CCTV and Traffic control sites across the borough. Utilising public sector assets as PoP sites reduced the roll out costs and established a central network operations centre. Further the full fibre network was launched to local businesses providing enhanced economic benefits to the Town and is key to underpinning the borough’s digital strategy and transformation programme. Most recently a full fibre to the premise expansion has been announced which will extend the network to reach every residential home in the borough.
