Director
Callum has been actively engaged with public sector bodies in the shared services agenda for many years, assisting in delivering cost effective solutions. He has over 15 years experience in managing and delivering multi-million pound projects in both the public and private sectors. Callum sits on many industry and Government advisory panels and committees and plays an active part in promoting good procurement practice within the public sector. He has had recent roles as Project Director for East Sussex County Council NGA project, Project Director for the Colchester Council Broadband delivery project, and assisting Essex County Council with their pending BDUK bid.
Michael Snaith
Senior Consultant
Michael has specialised in the development of sustainable technical and commercial models to support the delivery of broadband both in the public and private sectors. He has worked with a diverse range of clients both in public and private sectors ranging from property companies (British Land), passenger transport executives (Nexus and GMPTE), retail and shopping developers, wireless infrastructure companies (Arqiva), through to local authorities (Colchester Borough Council), and brings further ‘real world’ expertise to our team. More recently, Michael has actively been engaged in evaluating digital strategies for a number of clients relating both to delivery of broadband in rural areas and to the service layer looking at social and digital inclusion, commercialisation, digital IPTV, education and smart energy.
Keith Wright
Senior Consultant
An Essex based IT Consultant with a successful career to date, having assumed full responsibility for and delivered; high profile, cutting edge technology, technical and complex projects.
A Senior Consultant utilising and building on current skill sets including; project management and agile working, people management, strategy development, implementation of a strategic change delivery programme, risk assessment and process definition, IT services, financial management, and operational partnerships.
As well as being highly skilled within this area, will bring enthusiasm, dedication, strong delivery, high energy, alongside excellent management and communication skills.

Simon Yellowley
Senior Consultant
Simon has worked in the Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) industry for 30 years and has strong mixture of public and private sector skills.
Prior to RNS, Simon was BT’s regional director for Public Sector business in the North of England and also chair of BT’s North of England Regional Board. Simon has gained a wide range of experience in a variety of ICT sales, innovation, technology, consultancy, management, strategy and commercial disciplines.
The ability for public and private sectors to collaborate and partner to bring economic, social and environmental benefits to society by the adoption of digital technologies is at the core of what Simon experience relates too.
Simon is also an independent Governor / Trustee for the University of Northumbria.

Mark Churchill
Consultant
A driven and proactive senior manager with extensive experience working in ICT Service/Project Management and Traded Service development in the Public Sector. Held a range of senior ICT posts within business and corporate departments for several Local Authorities over the past 20 years. Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication and managerial skills, a conscientious individual with the ability to influence decisions and to develop and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally. Enjoys being part of, as well as managing, motivating, training and developing, a successful and productive team and thrives in highly pressurised and challenging working environment.
Established a Gigabit digital strategy in Southend-on-Sea by procuring a dark fibre network and connecting over 150 public sector sites. Acting as the Programme Manager to co-ordinate all connections including corporate, social care, education, housing, libraries, CCTV and Traffic control sites across the borough. Utilising public sector assets as PoP sites reduced the roll out costs and established a central network operations centre. Further the full fibre network was launched to local businesses providing enhanced economic benefits to the Town and is key to underpinning the borough’s digital strategy and transformation programme. Most recently a full fibre to the premise expansion has been announced which will extend the network to reach every residential home in the borough.
David Cummings
Consultant
David Cummings is an IT and Digital City Specialist who assists organisations build, optimise and progress all aspects of their digital objectives.
Prior to working for RNS, David has lead UK and US government IT departments in both Austria and the Netherlands. More recently, David ran a UK local authority ICT department which achieved both “Council of the Year” as well as attracting digital investment from the public and private sector, totalling over £35 million.
With RNS, David can help local authorities look internally at their existing IT provision but also outwardly to enable digital city, borough or district level ambitions.
David’s particular speciality is bringing together existing wider local authority projects and developing the digital opportunities that will benefit local and regional communities.
When not working, David enjoys spending time with his family, working on cars and playing golf, pool and badminton.
